Born into a fishing family and raised on the water, my passion for angling runs deep. With a father who was a Springbok angler, the ocean has always been at the heart of my life. Over the years, I’ve turned that passion into a profession - successfully running both commercial and charter fishing operations. As a proud member of the Western Province team, one of my career highlights was captaining the winning side at the Tuna Nationals - a moment that reflected both teamwork and years of dedication on the water. Today, in partnership with Salt Safari, I host specialized fishing expeditions to the pristine Pomene Reserve in Mozambique, giving others the chance to explore, learn, and enjoy some of the finest fishing the region has to offer. While I’ve celebrated many memorable catches, the greatest reward comes from helping others experience the thrill of landing their own fish. Whether guiding a first-time angler or a seasoned fisherman, being part of their journey is what truly fuels my love for the sport.
